The Doves were with us in Heidelberg, and we fondly called our combined teams, Stoves (Steadfast + Doves). And now it’s their turn!

This is the Doves:

The Doves were our next door neighbors in Guatemala, so we got to hear many of their team times, so I can confidently say the Doves are fun, crazy, and don’t let anything steal their joy! You never know what you’re walking into when you knock on the door during team time.

To start off, we have Abby:

Abby was the very first person I met, August 31st, in the airport, on the way to training camp, and the moment I met her, I became so excited to meet the rest of the Squad, because she was so joyful, caring, and easy to talk with! I learned a lot about deeply loving everyone around me from her.

Here’s Caryse:

Caryse was the second person I met and her name rhymes with Paris, as I learned when I met her. Caryse is amazing at relationships, is always up to talk, and is my usual travel buddy during travel days! Caryse has taught me so much on how much a gift friendship is.

Here’s Cimmie:

Cimmie (not Simmie) is a skilled photographer and has created many YouTube videos sharing our trip so far! If you want to see them, go to her YouTube channel CIMMIE w. Cimmie has a laugh that makes everyone laugh along with her, and she’s taught me a lot about being there for others.

Here’s Natalia:

Natalia is a gentle, sweet soul, who somehow always ends up making everyone around her crazy (probably because she’s silly too, and just brings it out of everyone). She invests deeply into her relationships, and her love for everyone around her is so evident. She’s taught me about how a deep love manifests in a visible way.

Here’s Ashlyn:

Ashlyn treats everyone like she’s known them forever, instantly including them in jokes and laughter. She’s on fire for God, but only kind of on fire for Euchre (haha, still love you!). Ashlyn’s shown me how being confident in your faith causes you to step out in greater boldness.

Here’s Aubrey:

Aubrey is a loose canon in the best way possible. You will never predict what she’s going to do next, only that it’s going to be hilarious, for Jesus, or slightly concerning. She’s taught me a lot about getting excited over new revelations about Jesus.

And their leader, Kayli:

Kayli was the Steadfast leader in Eswatini, so I got to know her pretty well. She’s artistic, kind, and makes you feel cared for. I’ve learned a lot about different forms of worship and seeking God’s face from her.

And that’s Doves! (Stoves for life)

  1. I love how you are open to learn something from everyone. And able to share it. Everyone has something to offer.
