Meet Steadfast!

After a conversation with my mom, I realized that though I know the people on my Squad so well, they’re a little bit of mysteries to everyone at home, so I figured I’d do a 5 part series, introducing everyone to all of you at home!

First, my team, Steadfast!!!

We are known among the other teams as being mostly calm, with our completely crazy and wild moments. Apparently, and this is a recent development, we are also know for loving feet? (I refuse to be associated with that label)

Here’s me:

You all know me, so I’ll share how my Squadmates know me. They see me as a witty, kind, wise, and loving person, who doesn’t love hugs but is always willing to talk and share my perspective.

Here’s Romy:

(Maybe there’s a reason for the feet…) Romy doesn’t like the spotlight to be on her, but if you’re sitting next to her, you’ll be treated to her personal observations phrased in the most hilarious way possible. She is steady, trustworthy, and always up for ice cream. She’s taught me a lot about how reading the Bible deeply leads to deeper revelation about God!

Here’s Abi:

Abi never lets things get boring, but anytime she thinks she may have gone too far, she apologizes. Little does she know, we always want to hear more of her laugh, her unique perspective, and her ideas for how to practically walk deeper in relationships. She’s taught me the power of intercession and worship, and how quiet time with God is worth sacrificing for.

Here’s Lily:

Lily is one of the most open and loving people you will meet. She values relationship above all else, and makes you feel so loved and cared for every time you speak with her. From her, I’ve learned so much about the heart of God towards people.

Here’s Anna:

Anna is such a leader, with a heart so obviously on fire for the Lord. When she’s not asking some of the deepest questions you’ve ever heard, she’s either realizing something new about God, or going absolutely wild during team time. Just like how she leads us through the airport, she’s also led me deeper in getting excited about what I’m learning from God.

Here’s Meghan:

Meghan is one of the most responsible and servant hearted people you will ever meet. I adore quoting movies with her, using big words, and hear her explain things I don’t understand in a way I can understand. She’s taught me so much in trusting God when He gives an answer!

Here’s Kennedy:

Kennedy is the life of the party, and it’s a good thing too, because she’s on the Squad party planning committee (we call them hospitality). She will encourage you, either with a silly distraction or thoughtful words, and often switching between the two effortlessly. I’ve learned so much about having a tender heart towards the people who are lost.

And last but not least, here’s our leader, Kait:

Kait perfectly matches Steadfast. She brings so much wisdom to our team, yet she also brings so much life and craziness to our team times. Our first team time, she set the vision for us being family, and that has been achieved to perfection. One thing I’ve learned from Kait is that it’s better to be obedient to what you think God is telling you, than to be disobedient to His voice.
