Meet LefeCinco/F4

Our last team is the boys. They started out this Race known as LefeCinco (The Faith Five), but changed their name to F4 (probably Faith 4, but they never explained to me) after Guatemala.

This is LefeCinco:

It’s hard to say what they’re known for as a team, because each individual is so different, but the bond they share is all the stronger for it. I would venture to say they’re known for their jokes, the way they step up, and for the connections they form throughout the Squad.

Here’s Mitch:

Mitch thinks deeply about everything, but doesn’t let it get in the way of having a good time with his friends. He was the main instigator behind playing Euchre every night, and even though he had to leave after a few months, I still count him as one of my closest friends. He taught me so much about learning why I believe what I do and how to ask questions that spark conversations.

Here’s Jackson:

Jackson is probably the chattiest member on our Squad, and most of what he says is a joke (usually a bad joke, but I still laugh most of the time). He’s always up for anything, and is usually the first to step up to lead worship or a teaching. He’s taught me how God rewards boldness.

Here’s Zachary:

Zach (or as he likes to spell it, Zack) does whatever he’s doing with all his might, whether it’s figuring something out, joking with his friends, or playing a game. He is not shy in the slightest and this leads to unashamed worship and often the first to answer a question. I’ve learned so much from watching Zach take initiative, and I also learned how to play Nerts and set up the projector.

Here’s Marshall:

Marshall seems quiet until you get to know him. If you’re in his friend group (which I think everyone is now), then you’ll be treated to his jokes, which he gives as often as he receives. He’s shown me what it looks like to be genuinely interested and excited to meet people and share Jesus’s love.

And their leader, Jack Boone:

Sir Jack Boone Galloway the third (the only full name we use frequently) is as much a jokester as the rest of his team, and good naturedly accepts the many jokes aimed his way. He’s always willing to talk and worships with his whole heart. I’ve learned so much about balancing leadership with friendship from him.
