We didn’t actually do any ministry today, so only read on if you want to hear how my day went!

We woke up early to have all of our stuff packed up and ready to go at 8:00, but we didn’t leave at 8:00. We had one last Campus Cleanup at 9:00, then we just killed time playing games until 12:15, when we boarded the vans to begin our journey!

It took us about 4 hours to make it to Excel College, the base that’s hosting us and giving us jobs to do. We’re in these cute little cabins, which feel like a palace compared to our tents!

Once we got there, it was too late to begin ministry, so we had pizza for dinner, then headed put to play volleyball, despite the fact that it was pouring rain! It was a great experience!!

Honestly, volleyball isn’t really my thing, so when a group left to play Gaga Ball, I joined them! It was like normal Gaga Ball (which is played by hitting a ball with your hands at the legs of the other people in the circle) made even more difficult, because the ground was so muddy and slippery that the difficulty was increased tenfold! Everyone was covered in mud by the end of it!!

Then we came back to the cabins and got a vision plan for the next week, which will involve some evangelizing ministry, and some partnering with the college ministry! It sounded like it’s going to be a good week!

  1. Frankly, at this point, I’m mostly grateful you all survived Helene in one piece. God bless you and enrich you with all His heavenly blessings.
